At A Glance
- Giant Evolution is available through Pass Royale or Wild Shards.
- Mirror Evolution arrives in the Shop during the second week or can be unlocked with Wild Shards.
- Earn Crown Tokens through events and spend them in the Royal Market from November 9.
How Giant Evolution Works
Evolved Giant still targets buildings and leads a push. After taking enough damage, he becomes enraged and leaves a Rage trail that boosts friendly troops following behind him. Each Giant attack expands that trail, so keeping him alive increases the area available to support units.
Build the push in layers. Deploy the Giant early enough to generate Elixir for support, then place ranged or high-damage troops where they can follow the trail without bunching into one spell. Defensive buildings and percentage damage remain important answers, so avoid spending the entire bar before seeing the opponent’s response.
Giant Evolution can be unlocked through Pass Royale or Wild Shards. Wild Shards preserve flexibility, so use them only if Giant decks are a real priority rather than an experiment.
Mirror Evolution Explained
Evolved Mirror copies the last card played, produces its Evolution when that card has one and adds one level. The copied card does not need to occupy an Evolution slot or even be unlocked in your Collection. If no Evolution exists, Mirror behaves normally and creates the base card one level higher.
The strength is flexibility, but the Elixir cost and sequencing still matter. Play the intended target immediately before Mirror and check that enough Elixir remains to use the copy. An opponent who recognises the setup can hold a counter for the repeated card.
Mirror Evolution enters the Shop in the second week of the season and is also available through Wild Shards. Wait for the live offer details before assuming a particular price.
King Of Cards Event Schedule
The King of Cards event runs November 9 to December 7. Giant and Mirror remain boosted throughout, while other win conditions rotate weekly.
- Week 2: Battle Ram, Hog Rider, Mortar, Minion Giant and Goblin Barrel.
- Week 3: Balloon, Royal Hogs, Three Musketeers, Royal Giant, Ram Rider and Wall Breakers.
- Week 4: Goblin Giant, Skeleton Barrel, Golem, Electro Giant, Lava Hound and Elixir Golem.
- Week 5: X-Bow, Miner, Graveyard and Goblin Drill.
The related challenges are Quick Wit from November 16–23, Beatdown from November 23–30, and Siege & Chip from November 30–December 7. These activities award Crown Tokens and other rewards. Our event preparation guide can help you plan resources before each rotation.
Daily Puzzles
One puzzle appears each day from November 2–8. Each uses a fixed scenario with the same enemy cards, placements and timings on every attempt. Your deck contains between one and four cards, and each can be played only once.
The first puzzle set focuses on skill and fewest-attempt bragging rights rather than rewards. Observe the complete sequence before changing your answer, then adjust one placement or timing at a time. A second puzzle set is planned later in the season.
Crown Tokens And Royal Market
Crown Tokens are a limited-time currency earned through events and the Shop. The Royal Market opens fully from November 9 through December 7, offering items and cosmetics. Its most coveted rewards unlock after you spend 3,000 Crown Tokens.
Do not hoard every token if spending is required to open the upper tier. Review the full market first, calculate the route to 3,000 spent, and buy rewards that advance both your account and the unlock threshold.
Deck Wizard And Competitive Mode
Deck Wizard replaces the Magic Wand and can build a deck from scratch or around favourite cards. In Duel Decks, it recommends Collection cards not already used in your other decks. It begins a test rollout in the Trophy Road deck-building tab during Week 2, so some players may receive it later.
A separate competitive mode will be revealed during the Clash Royale League World Finals, which run November 6–8 in Shanghai. Matches start at 03:00 UTC daily. Avoid publishing or acting on speculative details until Supercell completes that reveal.
Final Thoughts
King vs. King is built around experimentation: rotating win conditions, two unusual Evolutions and a market that rewards active spending. Prioritise the event dates, test Evolution mechanics before using Wild Shards, and plan Crown Token purchases around the 3,000-spend gate. That approach captures the seasonal rewards without wasting long-term resources.
